Abstract:
In distributed systems, it is often needed to trust before entities interact together. This establishment process involves making each ask for some credentials from the other entity, implies some privacy loss for both parties. We a model for achieving the right privacy-trust in distributed environments. Each entity to join a group in order to protect its privacy. between entities is then replaced by between groups on behalf of their . Data sent between groups is saved from by a self-destruction process. performed on the proposed model using Aglets platform show that entities requesting a need to give up more private information their past experiences are not good, or when server entity is of a paranoid nature. The privacy loss in all cases is quantified and controlled. ©2008 IEEE.
