The synthesis of second and third generation dendrimers based on poly-(L-lysine) with a pentaamine cobalt(III) metal complex at the core is described. The synthesis and purification of these dendrimers were facilitated by using the metal complex as the C-terminal protecting group. © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. |
