Abstract:
This volume features German-language essays, lectures, and interviews on Middle Eastern history and politics in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries by Helmut Mejcher. His long-standing research in the archives of the great powers, the close-up experiences of revolutionary unrest in many Middle Eastern societies, the political discourses in teaching as well as in public forums are reflected in this harvest of a tumultuous explorer's life. The book completes the publication of the author's English-language works.
