Abstract:
This book attempts to illuminate some of the important aspects of Salibi’s writings, through co-written studies by professors from schools and various intellectual courses. Each addresses one of the historical fields in which he wrote, without prior coordination of how to approach them. However, they all agreed on leadership in his studies that urge rethinking historical issues and non-acceptance of inherited traditions and this is what appears in the studies ranging from the Old Testament to the modern history of Jordan and Lebanon. In addition, there is no argument among them regarding his approach to history coming from a deep understanding of the framework as well as the interaction of the local and regional level.
