Abstract:
This guide addresses the process of becoming a medical healer. The book starts with some historical background revealing some of the assumptions regarding physicians that continue to exist in the minds of people. The guide goes on to detail the thinking process that leads to forming a differential diagnosis and how a physician practices in an outcome-based manner. Furthermore, this book provides suggestions on how students should choose their subspecialties, and introduces them to basic fundamental concepts about patient satisfaction. One overarching spirit prevails throughout this guide: the universality of ethical principles of practice.
