This brief was published following the fourth roundtable of AUB-NCC's 2023 series, titled “Navigating Climate Change and Environmental Activism in the MENA Region: Challenges and Opportunities.” The panel discussion shed light on the daily injustices and intersectional challenges faced by rural women in the context of climate change. By intertwining the stories of two young voices from the field, the discussion provided insights on how to influence national policies and initiatives, ensuring that the complex challenges of gender and climate justice receive the attention they warrant in Lebanon’s evolving narrative. |
