Abstract:
As editors of this special issue on Islamic feminism in the Arab world (eds Dima Dabbous & Hosn Abboud), we do not believe that this issue does justice to the timely and important topic of an-nisswiyya al-islamiyya or “Islamic feminism” — an intellectual endeavor and form of activism mostly found in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco.
