Abstract

Description

This dataset contains survey data collected from Lebanese adult consumers during Lebanon’s polycrisis, including the financial collapse, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Beirut port explosion. Data were collected using structured questionnaires administered in both Arabic and English. The dataset includes measures of consumer ethnocentrism, coping ability, socioeconomic status, and domestic purchase intentions. It was used to examine how psychological and socioeconomic factors interact to shape consumer behavior in crisis contexts. All data are fully anonymized and were collected in accordance with ethical standards approved by the Institutional Review Board of the American University of Beirut.
