Abstract

In response to the unprecedented economic and financial crisis, the Parliament of Lebanon approved a cash transfer program (CTP) law bill on June 30th, 2021 with the aim of alleviating poverty and helping citizens access their basic needs. The objective of this evidence brief is to support the ministerial committee in designing, establishing mechanisms and implementation of the CTP in Lebanon.
