Word stress in the Palestinian Arabic of Jerusalem a metric approach - by Nahil Adel Uwaydah
Abstract
The Palestinian Arabic dialect spoken in Jerusalem (PASJ) was investigated in an attempt to find two things . First, how the PASJ syll¬able is structured, and secondly, how word stress is patterned. The analysis of both followed the metrical procedure.
