Geochemical evolution of upper tertiary basalts from Southern Lebanon - by Lara Moussa Kallas
Abstract
The Upper Tertiary basaltic flows are located in the western Bekaa valley, and occur within Neogene limestone strata. The rocks occur in a number of flows reaching two meters in thickness. The flows contain both highly vesicular to massive basaltic rocks.
