Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of using ultrasound guidance technique for arterial line placement in the paediatric population, as compared to other traditional techniques (palpation, Doppler auditory assistance, and others), at all potential sites for arterial cannulation (left or right radial, ulnar, brachial, femoral, or dorsalis pedis artery). © 2014 The Cochrane Collaboration.
