| dc.description.abstract | I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my main advisor, Professor Izzat El Hajj, for introducing me to the field of GPU computing and for his continuous guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this work. His mentorship has been invaluable in shaping both this thesis and my growth as a researcher. I am also deeply grateful to my co-advisor, Professor Amer Mouawad, for his guid- ance and support, and for inspiring my interest and passion for graph theory. His insights and feedback greatly contributed to the development of this thesis. I would like to thank my thesis committee member, Dr. Rida Assaf, who introduced me to research in computer science when I was still a junior undergraduate student. His early guidance played an important role in motivating me to pursue research and continue developing in this field. I am also thankful to my research colleague, Hussein Amro, for his help, collabo- ration, and support throughout this work. His contributions and discussions were highly valuable during the progress of this thesis. Finally, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Dr. Rakesh Nagi from the Singapore University of Technology and Design for proposing the initial idea of this thesis and for his valuable input, suggestions, and guidance throughout the research process. | |
