My Friend Mohamad

Abstract

My Friend Mohamad is children's book about loneliness and friendship. The story is told through the eyes of the narrator, who describes what Mohamad does throughout a normal day at school. He goes over how Mohamad spends a lot his time alone because he has different interests than the other kids. He also likes flowers, reading, and superheroes. Mohamad is also a very quiet kid and he is not very athletic. Around halfway through the story, the narrator finally makes an appearance and shows us that he became friends with Mohamad because he is exactly like him. The story is meant to convey the strength resulted from friendship as well as self love.
