Social Media Stories: Navigating through People’s Narratives in Lebanon

Abstract

This study examines how people in Lebanon interpret and experience their relationship with social media taking into consideration the political, social and economical uncertainty. The study ditch all the technological perceptions represented by what is called “platform talk” and focuses on the lived experiences of people and how they construct meaning, negotiate their identities and manage their attention across both lived worlds, the virtual and the actual.
