The Quantum Hall effect - by Nadia al-Rahhal al-Arabi
Abstract
Transport phenomena in two dimensional semiconductors have revealed unusual properties . In this thesis these systems are considered and discussed. The theories explain the Integral Quantum Hall Effect (IQHE) and the Fractional Quantum Hall Effect (FQHE).
