National Guidelines for Nursery Management: Native Trees and Shrubs

Abstract

This manual sets initial standards for native tree seedling production in Lebanon for improved national restoration project implementation. It is the outcome of years of trial and error, field research, and community participation. The manual takes the reader through a road map that includes all the steps that precede and follow tree planting which is a continuous chain of crucial steps. If at any point along the chain, any of the steps fail, the outcome, a surviving tree, will also fail.
