The feeling of belonging is an essential need desired by everyone in order to feel included in a city and identified as an active member of this society. Belonging implies being part of a certain group, neighborhood, or even a community that adapts to the required needs and therefore, expanding the public realm. By focusing on the Karantina district, an activation was needed to generate the inclusion of the diverse locals that went through a layering of trauma. A common denominator that is shared and transmitted through generations. A new learning environment is introduced, providing a coping mechanism for the present and the future by bringing the cultural, communal, and educational aspects all together.
