Abstract

The agricultural atlas describes and explains the processes of agricultural production in the village of Sinay, in Jabal ‘Amel- South Lebanon. The atlas aims to act as guide to those wishing to understand clearly the opportunities and challenges facing the agricultural sector in the village of Sinay. This project also focuses on the agricultural production in Sinay in 2013, based on the methodology of Participatory Rural Appraisal using interview, mapping and transect walk with the farmers in the village. This project shows the multifunctional aspect of agriculture, social and economic sector in Sinay. We conclude by showing the change in the role and position of agriculture in the area.
