Optimal power flow by decoupled Newton's method - by Joseph Elie Abdo
Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to develop an efficient computer program to solve the OPF problem for large scale systems. The second order Newton's method was selected after a thorough literature survey because of its robustness and good computational speed.
