Abstract

The Curls That Would Not Behave is a realistic fiction story about Nour, a young girl who is teased at school because of her curly hair. Feeling hurt and insecure, she considers changing herself to fit in. With the support of her grandmother, Nour learns to embrace her curls and see them as something special. The story highlights themes of self-acceptance, confidence, and the importance of valuing one's identity.
