Abstract

Tabarja is another example of a Lebanese coast which has highly been threatened by urbanization. In fact, its cultural identity is increasingly being erased with the emergence of resorts; leaving any agriculture activity, a long term practice, as a remain that is ready to vanish. My project therefore focuses on maintaining the coast’s identity through a new typology of coastal landscape that uses agriculture as recreation.
