dc.description.abstract An NGO Management and Leadership Model has been developed through this mixed methods study. A literature review was followed with set of surveys and focus groups to identify the competencies needed for individuals in the NGO field in Lebanon. A set of 20 competencies were identified under three main categories: Technical, Soft Skills and Organizational and Strategic. Moreover, the study included an analysis of common approaches to developing those competencies with a suggested program and approach to developing the necessary training and development programs to build on this study.
