dc.description.abstract |
The aim of this project is to create a green hub stitched the heart of Beirut. This will be done by connecting the Hippodrome and Horsh Beirut as well as tunneling the highway that separates them. The new park will be open to every bordering community and will introduce numerous activities that cater for all age groups. Moreover, it will be important to preserve the ecology and invite horses to walk around the whole site for people to interact with. This green space will then become a new multi-functional destination for all residents of Beirut. |
