| dc.description.abstract | The thesis argues that Daheyati urban program privileges an infrastructural and engineering urban approach, as well as an aesthetics-visual approach, with little regard to livability and sustainable mobility. It also shows how Daheyati forms a new phase in the role of Hezbollah as an urban planner, whereby the scale of its interventions is reaching a regional dimension, and raising important issues with regard to metropolitan urban governance in a post-conflict city. |
