| dc.description.abstract | This publication is about Fares Al-Shidyaq, a Lebanese man who lived around the 1800s, mostly known for his book Leg Over Leg considered as the first ‘Arab’ novel. The themes he brought up are very avant-garde and daring for his time. The publication regroups a collection of supporting articles written about Al-Shidyaq as well as extracts of his own book. It’s a visual interpretation of his ideas that aims to introduce him to the general public and make this historical persons’ work more accessible. |
