Abstract:
Today, our society exists with a constant stream of information where our perception of reality is embedded within the screen. This virtual wall has changed our understanding of the social. The thesis explores how design responds to spatial interaction in a community consumed by the digital interface. The project is a monument, a place of consumption, an image, and a spectacle. Set within the context of Downtown Beirut, the project proposes scenarios of hyper-condensed realities that experiment with paradoxical conditions of analog and digital domains.
