dc.description.abstract Under a constant Israeli threat of wars of different types. Our architecture is very vulnerable, slow, and low in performance. When the enemy's armament and war strategies are evolving rapidly. Architecture is lacking and lagging behind all other tools of resistance. What is the role of architecture and urban design in times of threat and war? How can architecture and urban design become a more efficient tool of urban resistance? This is a trial to create a more resistant city through resilient design. A redesigned version of Dahieh is a diluted one where the solid is redistributed and reconfigured into the void while maintaining the existing density. This created a holistic, continuous, porous, self-supporting, and unified 3-dimensional web that provides itself and its dwellers with their needs safely and sustainably, thus a self-sufficient and resilient metapolis.
