dc.description This work is completed with the collaboration of Hani Al-Naghi as part of his research for his PhD dissertation, and Zahwa Al-Ayyash as part of her Master's thesis.
dc.description.abstract Traffic congestion and parking deficit have become a serious burden on commuters in many urban areas. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the market demand potential of a shared-ride taxi service for the students at the American University of Beirut. This service, if implemented, will surely improve students’ commute experience and promote a higher quality of life for them.
