TAMAM is a research and development project where university researchers work closely with educational practitioners through on-going collaborative action research to generate designs and strategies that are grounded in the sociocultural context of the Arab region. TAMAM promotes a new vision of schools as self-renewing community schools that can lead and sustain their own improvement. Its model challenges top-down reforms by building leadership capacity at the school level and fostering partnerships to support educator-led innovations, thus gradually transforming the educational system.
