This study examined the content and practices of the principal preparation program at the American University of Beirut. A case study qualitative design was employed with focus on the content analysis of syllabi and other documentary evidence. Results indicated that the program content and practices are in line with established standards, despite the fact that the program seems to place more emphasis is placed on theoretical rather than the practical components of principal preparation.
