dc.description.abstract As part of the graphic design course (GD203) 'Design in the Community', in Spring 2013, students were asked to create a map of a Ras Beirut Street, in this case Jeanne d'Arc, based on a particular interest they would map. This project is part of a larger project on creating alternative maps of Ras Beirut. Led by faculty members Zeina Maasri and Maya Saikali, each team created a unique map, with topics ranging from an exploration of public versus private space, degraded versus maintained, to consumerism and others
